I've been tie knot bandaged
and the top hat robe
I eat blues for breakfast
when sand's on the road
but I ain't never ate crickets
or seen a woman explode

I've been drinking hotel rooms
kicked locks on the slide
Singapore went to Vegas
and I should have died
but I never ran for office
nor ever took a side

The lake was a monster
when I saw her at night
I was smoking ice
and flying a kite
but I couldn't swim naked
it's too cold for flight
