Bandits of the Watchless Eye

The bandits of New Mexico hid in shadow caves
and hog tied the wives of the captured slaves
"no mercy to you will there be paid"
they said like wolves set ready invade
there were cries in echoes as the ropes were frayed
by whips and knives and things they made
No god was watching as they all were laid
in unmarked blood earth clay namless graves.
